With over a decade of product design experience across DBS Bank, J.P. Morgan, Grab, and dtcpay, I’ve led design initiatives in both corporate and startup environments across Singapore and Hong Kong. My design process combines user research with thoughtful user interface design to shape product experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.

Managed and guided a team of 3 designers at a startup, spearheading a zero-to-one product launch for a crypto wallet app with cross-border transfers, card services, and FX swaps.

Grab Ads

At Grab my role is to help food merchants drive sales by boosting their listings with keywords targeting and increase their brand awareness by advertising on the Grab.

I built 96 components with 2,880 variants on Figma. Within 3 months, different design teams across the globe have utilized the library with over 464,342 inserts. I advocated and taught the team how to use auto layouts and was the gatekeeper to ensure that we maintain a certain level of consistency.

My most recent project was to create an ETF stock code page for Private Banking clients. It was an enjoyable process to put together different concepts and solicit feedback from advisors. I pitched this concept to multiple business stakeholders and used data to validate the design.

In 2018, I was relocated to Hong Kong to work on the Faster Payment System. With PayFast, customers can transfer money instantly via mobile number, email address or by scanning a QR Code. I created the name PayFast and introduced quirky whatsapp stickers that you can send to your friends.

In 2017, DBS bought over ANZ bank in Taiwan. And I was sent to create a brand new suite of digital offerings for DBS and ANZ credit card customers. The concept was to make a banking website less inanimate and more human by customizing rewards and making the experience more enjoyable.

in 2016, I asked myself how I can co-create my design with the banking customers? Based on this concept, I launched a photo competiton and published our customer’s photos they submitted onto this very iconic DBS Login page. The images with rotate with the different timings of the day.

I had the opportunity to work on a project for DBS virtual bank in India to introduce mutual funds purchases on the mobile app. It was especially enriching to learn about different mutual funds purchasing behaviour in India, and be exposured to a different customer segments in another region.
